TBR FAQs
What does TBR offer athletes?
Stability & Flexibility – the opportunity to pursuit your basketball career, while also focusing on other aspects of life, such as full time jobs and/or education. Support services to help advance career such as our Player Placement Program and Overseas Combines.
High level competition against elite teams around the country and world. Over 100 hours of training development via our coaches and partnered facilities. Game and practice film for additional use and knowledge. Also a dedicated coaching staff ready to help you succeed on and off the court.
What are the requirements to be part of TBR?
To be part of one of our semi-pro teams, an athlete must be 18 & graduated from HS and currently not in college. Financial investment is required by all players as there are fees associated with our services. Player fees for 2025 will range from $700-$400 based on level. However, our training services are for all ages looking to enhance their skills. Check out our services and see what WXRK best for you.

What is the commitment needed to be part of TBR?
The season runs from Jan- Oct each year with Jan-May consisting of our per-season games (women play in She got Game League Denver, & men play in Colorado Basketball Association) Commitment is around 10-15 hours per month mandatory but you can always put in more time to prefect your craft. Community service volunteering is mandatory with our TBR/AUA events.
Do the teams travel outside of Colorado?
All teams will travel out of the state and country. Passports are required to be part of a TBR semi-pro team. TBR has traveled to Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Jamaica. These fees (flights/hotels) are paid by the player. However, there are opportunities for personal sponsorships and donations that the organization can set up for you. New destinations on the horizon for 2025.
Have any players received a paid contract being part of TBR?
TBR has had one player to date receive a paid contract offer. However, there are a number of offers via our partnerships with Overseas Combines, PPP, and other agencies. TBR provides the bridge to paid opportunities for pro teams and leagues.
What league does TBR teams play in?
TBR teams are independent and game schedule is set up by staff each year. There has not been a true benefit of being part of a league because we want to offer more for our players. Our season consist of min of 20 pre-season and season games. TBR has a relationship with a number of teams around the country and abroad to offer our players a competitive schedule each season.
What types of contracts are offered with TBR?
TBR teams are exposure teams and do not offer paid contracts to players. We offer 1 year regular exposure contracts, 2-way contracts, and developmental contracts. We also will be offering contracts for practice players for 2025 as well. Contracts are renewed based on a number of characteristics needed on and off the court.
What does the team fee cover?
The team fee fully covers all team practices, team training, team registrations, players uniform packages, player profile and stats, personal player workout plan via WXRK Ops training.
Additional perks: Game and practice film, Brand advocacy opportunities & player incentives via TBR partners.
Also players will receive discounts on the following… player highlight films via media partners, TBR merch, Overseas Combines, personal training, and more.
What is not included?
The only items not covered in the player fee are player’s travel and accommodation for games/showcases.
